Hi everybody!
It's March, and it has been a while that we didn't tell you about what is going on in our lives.
Our second quarter is coming to its end and, looking back, on one hand it seems it was yesterday that we started this journey, and on the other, we feel like we have lived experiences that would fit in 2 years instead of 6 months.
We are blessed with a loving and encouraging community. As planned, we are recieving knowledge and formation, but after a while of mostly recieving, we are now starting to put in practice and serve actively again.
In January we participated as Care Givers in Training in the Formational Prayer Seminar. Well I (Jeanette) started but then I got sick : (.
During January and February we were invited to lead worship in several churches and events.
As an example, the link under these lines is a video recorded during our participation in a weekly worship service for Ashland University and Seminary students, “The Well”, where a friend or ours preached.
Also since February we are participating in the worship team at “5Stones”, the church we are attending here. We are enjoying the comunion and growth we are experiencing through that too.
Now we are looking forward for the spring to arrive and to start our third and last quarter at the Seminary. Although we are missing our friends and families back in Europe, we are already sad about having to leave Ashland and with it new friends and family.
Pray for us to “stay present” until we actually leave, so that we do not miss the blessings God prepares each moment.

Es ist März, und es ist eine Weile her, dass wir euch aufs Laufende bringen.
Unser zweites Quartal auf dem Bibel Seminar kommt seinem Ende zu und zurückschauend kommt es uns einerseits vor als ob es gestern war, dass wir diese neue Reise begonnen und andererseits haben wir soviel erlebt, dass es für 2 Jahre reichen würde anstatt für 6 Monate.
Wir sind mit einer liebevollen und aufbauenden Gemeinschaft gesegnet. Wie geplant empfangen wir Wissen und Bildung, jedoch nach einer Weile in der wir hauptsächlich empfangen haben fangen wir an das gelernte in die Tat um zu setzen und wieder aktiv zu dienen.
Im Januar haben wir als Seelsorger in Training an dem Formational Prayer Seminar teilgenommen. Naja... ich (Jeanette) hab angefangen, bin dann aber krank geworden : (.
Während Januar und Februar sind wir von mehreren Gemeinden eingeladen worden Lobpreis zu leiten. Del Link zu dem video ist ein wöchentliches Treffen “The Well”, das von der Universität organisiert wird und wo ein Freund von uns gepredigt hat.
Ausserdem nehmen wir seit Februar im Lobpreisteam der Gemeinde 5stones teil, zu der wir hier gehen. Wir geniessen die Gemeinschaft und das Wachstum, das wir auch hier erleben.
Im Moment freuen wir uns auf den Frühling und darauf mit unserem dritten und letzten Quartal hier auf dem Bibel Seminar anzufangen. Obwohl wir unsere Freunde und unsere Familie in Europa vermissen, sind wir jetzt schon traurig Ashland hinter uns zu lassen und mit ihm neue Freunde und Familie.
Bitte betet für und, damit wir “gegenwärtig bleiben” solange wir hier sind, damit wir nicht die vielen Segnungen verpassen, die Gott für uns in jedem Moment vorbereitet.

Es marzo y hace tiempo que no os ponemos al día. Nuestro segundo trimestre está acabando; por un lado, parece que fue ayer que empezamos este viaje y, por otro, sentimos que hemos vivido experiencias para llenar dos años, y no seis meses.
Estamos bendecidos con una comunidad que nos ama y nos reta. Como pensábamos que ocurriría, estamos recibiendo conocimiento y formación; sin embargo, tras un tiempo de casi “sólo recibir”, estamos ahora empezando a practicar y servir activamente de nuevo.
En Enero participamos como consejeros asistentes en el Seminario de “Formational Prayer”. Bueno, yo (Jeanette) lo comencé, pero luego me puse mala y no pude acabarlo : (
Durante Enero y Febrero, hemos sido invitados a varias iglesias y eventos para guiar en la alabanza.
Como ejemplo, el link bajo estas líneas corresponde a un vídeo de nuestra participación musical en un servicio de adoración semanal para estudiantes de la Universidad de Ashland, “The Well” (“El Pozo”, en referencia al mencionado en la Biblia en Juan 4:6, no a la conocida marca española de embutidos).
Desde Febrero, estamos participando en el grupo de alabanza de la iglesia a la que asistimos aquí,
Five Stones Community Church. Estamos disfrutando de la comunidad y recibiendo crecimiento a través de esta experiencia.
Esperamos ver llegar la Primavera pronto, y empezar el tercer y último trimestre en el Seminario. Aunque echamos de menos a nuestros amigos y familias en Europa, comenzamos a sentirnos tristes ante la idea de decir adiós a nuestra familia aquí.
Por favor, orad por nosotros para que podamos “permanecer presentes” hasta que realmente nos vayamos, para no perdernos las bendiciones que Dios todavía guarda para nosotros aquí.
