We have been busy and have been traveling a lot.

Missions Conference in Ebenezer Mennonite Church
We were invited to talk about the situtation in Spain, our studying project and our plans and visions for our future ministry. We also sang two songs.
We are very thankful for the hospitality with wich they recieved us, the love they expressed to us and their interest in our vision and formation.
11/16 – 11/18

“The Outpouring”, organized by Dr. Terry Wardle and the Institute of Formational Counseling. Conferences and workshops with him and more invited speakers. It was a great blessing.
11/22 – 11/26
Johnstown, PA
We spent the Thanksgiving holidays with a friend's family we got to know in a seminar in September. Her husband was a spanish teacher and surprisingly we spoke a lot of spanish there with new friends we made through them. We had a great time with them and their kids. We went bowling, to the incline train, and we had wild turkey for Thanksgiving : )

We were invited by friends from the church we are attending here, to spend the weekend in their favorit city CHICAGO : )
Good conversations, experienced cold and a lot of walking and pictures! : )
12/10 - 12/13
Millersburg, OH
A classmate invited us to spend the weekend with her family in Millersburg.
On sunday we sang a song in her church and her daughter helped us with it. Actually we were returning to Ashland on Monday morning, but because of the snow we prefered to go on the safe side and instead of slip with the car we preferred to go sledding.
But we were not only travelling : ) we continued studying, continued experiencing counselling and getting involved in the church and the seminary community.
Last Monday we participated in the seminary christmas choir concert and represented Spain and Germany singing Silent Night in our motherlanguage.
Ya ha pasado un tiempo sin que sepáis de nosotros por aquí.
Hemos estado ocupados y viajando un montón.

Conferencia Misionera en Ebenezer Mennonite Church
Fuímos invitados a compartir acerca de la situación en España, nuestra visión de ministerio y cómo nuestros estudios aquí están equipándonos y ayudando a desarrollar dicha visión.
También cantamos un par de canciones.
Estamos muy agradecidos por la hospitalidad con que fuimos recibidos, el cariño que nos mostraron y el interés por nuestra visión y formación.

“The Outpouring” (El Derramamiento): conferencias y talleres para pastores y líderes. Organizado por el Dr. Terry Wardle, director del “Institute of Formational Counseling”, departamento del Seminario Teológico de Ashland. Fue una gran bendición.

Johnstown, PA
Pasamos las vacaciones de Acción de Gracias con la familia de una amiga que conocimos en el seminario en Septiembre. Su marido fue profesor de español; sorprendentemente, hablamos un montón de español allí, con nuevos amigos que conocimos a través de ellos.
Lo pasamos genial con ellos, y con sus niños!

Unos amigos de la Iglesia a la que asistimos aquí nos invitaron a Chicago! Es su ciudad favorita, y cuando estuvimos allí pudimos comprender por qué. Tuvimos gran cantidad de buenas conversaciones, pasamos un montón de frío, caminamos mucho e hicimos muuuuchas fotos! : )

Millersburg, OH
Una compañera de clase nos invitó a pasar el fin de semana con su familia en Millersburg. El domingo cantamos una canción en su iglesia con su hija. El plan era volver el lunes por la mañana, pero la nevada que cayó la noche anterior lo complicó; así que, en vez de patinar con el coche de vuelta a Ashland, montamos en trineo con los chicos!
Pero no sólo hemos estado viajando. Continuamos estudiando, recibiendo consejería e integrándonos en la Iglesia y en la comunidad del Seminario.
El pasado Lunes participamos en el concierto de Navidad del Coro del Seminario. Es tradición que, en este concierto, los estudiantes internacionales canten “Noche de Paz”, cada uno en su lengua materna, y luego todos juntos en Inglés. Se oyó, además del español y el alemán, el ruso, el ucraniano, el swahili y el japonés.

Missionskonferenz in der Ebenezer Mennoniten Gemeinde. Wir waren eingeladen um über die Situation in Spanien, unserem Studien Projekt und unseren Plänen und Vision für unseren zukünftigen Dienst zu berichten. Wir haben auch zwei Lieder gesungen.
Wir sind sehr dankbar für ihre Gastfreundlichkeit mit der sie uns empfangen haben.

Wir haben die “Thanksgiving” Ferien mit der Familie einer Freundin verbracht, die wir im September in dem Formational Prayer Seminar kennengelernt haben. Ihr Ehemann war Spanischlehrer und wir sprachen überraschend viel Spanisch mit neuen Freunden, die wir durch sie kennengelernt haben. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit mit ihnen und ihren Kids. Wir sind bowlen gegange und haben den “incline train” (Gefälle-Bahn) besichtigt, und wir hatten frischgejagten Truthan zu Thanksgiving : )

Ein Pärchen aus der Gemeinde zu der wir hier gehen haben uns dazu eingeladen ein Wochende mit ihnen in ihrer Lieblingsstadt CHICAGO zu verbringen : )
Gute Gespräche, unglaubliche Kälte und wir sind viel gelaufen und haben viele Fotos geschossen! : )
10.12 - 13.12.
Millersburg, OH
Eine Klassenkameradin hat uns eingeladen das Wochenende mit ihrer Familie in Millersburg (genauergesagt in BERLIN : ) ) zu verbringen. Am Sonntag haben wir in ihrer Gemeinde ein Lied gesungen und ihre Tochter hat uns dabei unterstützt. Eigentlich wären wir am Montagmorgen zurückgefahren, aber weil es so stark geschneit hat, sind wir auf Nummer sicher gegangen und anstatt mit dem Auto zu schlittern sind wir lieber richtig Schlitten gefahren.
Aber wir sind nicht nur rumgereist : ) wir haben unser Studium fortgesetzt, haben weiterhin Seelsorge empfangen und haben uns voll ins Gemeinde und Seminarsleben einbeziehen lassen.
Letzten Montag haben wir zum Beispiel am Chorkonzert des Seminars teilgenommen und Deutschland und Spanien in “Stille Nacht” representiert als wir jeweils eine Strophe in unserer Muttersprache gesungen haben.
